The Hilgos Foundation, co-producer of our film I Remember Better When I Paintwas named a finalist at this year’s Shorty Awards.

The Shorty Awards (also known as the Shorties) honors the best in social media – recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short content across Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube and the rest of the social web.

We are proud to have had our film represented at this year’s Shorty Awards ceremony, which took place on April 8 at the TimesCenter in New York City. With 5,488 followers on Twitter, The Hilgos Foundation was in 4th place for Best Charity in Social Media with 373 votes.

The Hilgos Founation’s mission is to support and encourage the ongoing process of artistic creation with people who have memory problems and/or Alzheimer’s and who require assistance in creating art that is meaningful and enriching.
